A plea from the UK to New Zealand geocachers

Donna Timmis aka Finn and Rosie

We are a Family from Cornwall in the UK, and one of our main family hobbies is geocaching. We are in our early 30s with two young well-behaved children, Finnegan, age four, who loves Geocaching and Rosie, who is one and a half and loves anything new. We are both non-smokers who have a passion for anything to do with the outdoors from geocaching, adventure racing and mountain biking through to orienteering and kitesurfing.

We are looking at coming to New Zealand from mid-November 2006 through to mid-January 2007 (8 weeks in total). Our primary aim for our trip is to explore both the North and South Island and to also try to visit as many caches as possible while we are visiting.

At the moment, we are struggling to find a Motorhome for the entire trip duration that is within our budget and so we thought we'd turn to some likeminded people for some help or advice. If you are willing to exchange the use of a 4-berth Motorhome with the use of a 3-bedroom home in beautiful Cornwall in the UK (not necessarily concurrently, we are happy to move out for a short period of time in exchange for the trip of a lifetime) - or alternatively, if anyone has any tips or advice on where we could hire a vehicle at a reasonable price, please contact Donna and James Timmis at donnatimmis@btinternet.com. Many thanks in anticipation!
