This is Goat Canyon Trestle in Carrizo Gorge in the Southern part of California's largest state park, Anza Borrego Desert state Park. Over 600,0000 acres!

Yes, that's 600,000 acres!

Pic #1 shows how big the trestle is. Pic #2 was taken from the other side of pic #1.

This is an all day adventure through the great desert of Anza Borrego. The gentleman in the picture is Wolf of the Sr. Hikers. The Sr. Hikers, Wolf and Ingrid are two of Southern California's finest people and geocachers. Pic #2

Starting about 60 feet below the surface of the water, you will find the remains of the power station along with the foundations of, and debris from, other structures in the town that was flooded in 1958 to allow for construction of a nearby hydroelectric dam and the St. Lawrence Seaway. Divers are cautioned that while entrance to some of the structures is still possible, the interiors are dark, confined, and can easily become silted.
