Ringing in the New Year

South African TB Race!
This is an invitation to enter your TB in a race from Northern KZN to Cape Town during 2005 (1 year).

You are invited to attend the Treasure Valley Cacheaholics Anonymous Meeting. For those of you out there that may (or may not) have a geocaching problem, this is the event for you.

The Campfire Cache Event
This is a multi-stage event cache that will take you on a trek through the forest and to the final stage of our campsite! The posted coordinates are for the first stage just off of SR 46 outside of Sanford. You can hike, bike or drive in from there (about a 10 mile round trip). There is an entrance fee into the forest, but children under 6 are free.

When I found out that I would be coming to Albuquerque, I decided to look and see if there would be any Events along the way. I didn't see any listings but then I remembered one that I had seen listed in Seattle, by a Cacher that was going to be visiting for a couple of days. I'll only be in town for two nights and I thought it would be cool to meet some of the local Geocachers (and I'll need to eat anyway, so why not host my own?).

Geocaching 101 Class
This introductory class will teach you the basics of participating in the game of Geocaching - finding hidden caches with a GPS unit. The class will be held on Saturday January 15 starting at 10:00 a.m. The total length of the class will be about two hours in length and will be held in the McClung Indoor Pavilion in Jefferson City, Missouri.

After joining geocaching just after the last Northern Cache Bash meet 18 months ago, it's about time to meet the people behind hiding and finding the local caches. Some have been around a few years and some just a few months but am sure all will have a few tales to tell.

Eco clean up 3
Hi, it's that time again! Come join us and some of the Conejo cachers for a couple hours of cleaning. This place is in really bad shape and could really use our help. Bags, pick up sticks and dumpster will be provided. Of course when we are done, I'm sure we could find some place close to enjoy some pizza and suds.

The City of Waukesha invites you and your family to participate in the 20th annual Winter JanBoree event.

SNEG Winter Wander GEO-meet 2005
Great opportunity for beginner as well as seasoned cachers to try out winter searching with their new toys, high tech gifts and/or other equipment. Weather permitting, outdoor activities will include cross country ski course, snowshoeing route and possibly a skate cache.

Geocacher's Anonymous Gathering
Join equally addicted cachers in an evening of eating, drinking and of course sharing embarrassing geocaching stories. Avroair will be leading the meeting and taking you through the 12 Step Program.

Summer Picnic 2005
This will be a picnic near the beach. The location will be Bribie Island. Although our intention was to be able to include K9-Geopets, the locations proved unsuitable, so I am afraid that they will have to remain at home.
