We recently upgraded our software here at Today's Cacher. Unfortunately, when we did this we lost our submitted photos. We apologize for this, and are dearly hoping our readers will resubmit them. We had many great photos of pets and caching children especially, which we were hoping to run in the July and August issues. As the email account itself was deleted, we cannot individually contact those who submitted. The "photos@todayscacher.com" account is back up, and from now on we will be making extra back-ups of all submitted photos.

If you submitted photos to us already, please send them again. We want to share your caching adventures with other cachers!

This is a photo of Jerry and Kevin Plunkett (aka jpp or The Plunketts) preparing CITO containters for the Central Coast Geocachers of California CITO Picnic on April 17th. The picnic is to be held at Laguna Grand Regional Park in Monterey County in Seaside, California.
On January 24, 2004, over 40 people participated in a CITO event called Eco-cleanup 2 in Newbury Park, CA. The event, planned by Thousand Oaks, CA resident John Noble, featured three caches hidden on the hillside. The cachers brought back enough trash including bottles, cans, bricks, rusted car parts and other junk to fill the bed of a pickup truck.
The picture shows some folks from the Conejo Cachers during Eco-Cleanup 2 including from left, rear: John Noble (Trurokr), Stephanie Faveral (Faveral), Scott Legal (slegal), Luc Faveral (Faveral), Gordon Hart (agouracharger). Front row: Summer and Skye Noble. Photo by Brian O'Connell (aerospacecase)

This was taken in Huntington Beach, CA by geocachers Sue and Ken Pace. OOH, we couldn't find this cache, but we did bag a bag of trash to take off the beach and make it more beautiful. We had a CITO event the first weekend in April. The photo is of the Waco Area Geocachers from Texas. The clean-up was at Lake Waco.

Photo from our Earth DayTrash Day Clean up at Mansfield Dam LCRA Park near Austin TX. A large group of Central Texans with all the trash bags full of trash in the front from the days collection! The photo is me at last years CITO event, at Liberty Lake Park, near Spokane Washington. The picture was published in the local paper, with an article About the event and Geocaching in general.
Dick Dawe aka Zippitydoda. This photo was taken at The Rat Trail Cache (waypoint:GC3259) on 3/25/2002.
The cache site was littered with beer bottles.
Instead of collecting them and throwing them in the
trash, I insisted that we RECYCLE them!! My recycle
bin was quite full that weekend, and I'm sure the
garbageman thought we'd had one heck of a party!
Shown in this photo is my mother LEHBQ (on left) and
me, antimony13 (on right).
