Geo-Party?
As one would expect, geocachers around the world have scheduled many events for December including Christmas parties galore. This is only a partial list of selected events. For a complete listing, visit the geocaching.com events calendar.
Dec. 01--Norway
Oslo Tech & Beer event
Geocachers get together to show theirs, and see fellow cachers gadgets.
There has been talk about having an event like this for a while, and what better time to have it than now, right before Christmas. Come, bring your toys, and see what you want to put down on Santa’s wish list.

No More Hurricanes Hullabaloo
Come celebrate the end of hurricane season!!!! (Assuming there are any cachers or caches left around here by then.)
Meet with your fellow cachers who have not yet run off to the mountains to share stories of third-world life in the Plywood State. Assuming it's still standing, we'll have a casual dinner meet & greet at Meg O'Malley's restaurant in Downtown Melbourne for a one-night only cache.

Geocaching Today's Welsh Region Christmas Dinner, and TB Swap Event, supporting a Mountain Rescue Team.
Well here it is a chance to have Christmas Dinner with some fine company, Swap TB'S and support OVMRO Mountain Rescue Team all at the same time. What more could you ask of a TB Swap event? To add to all this, the meal is located in a beautiful area of Wales, which happens to be a SSSI.

THE PENNSYLVANIA HUMAN GEOCACHE - Sat 12/4/04
Find the Human Geocache (PULASKI, MRS PULASKI, TULIP, PIGLET & our friend Ali who will be visiting from England) anytime between the hours of 10AM (thanks, this will give jet-lagged Ali a bit more time to get to the cache Sat AM) and 7PM on Saturday December 4th. The final location will be somewhere warm and dry! To score the cache, find us and stop in and say hello. We will have chili, Italian bread, desert and drinks so stay for a bit and have a bite to eat!

This Xmas Prague event cache will take place on 10th December 2004 in the Restaurant Harmony - U Michelskeho lesa street no. 370 in Prague - Krc from 18.00 p.m.
Agenda: discussion, beer, food, exchange of the TBs, finding of the occasional large cache with the Xmass gifts, which you will bring. Vsetci ste vitani :) You are warmly welcome :)

In December we traditionally break from our regular schedule to have an informal meeting where we all do our second most favorite thing... eating. Our most favorite thing is Geocaching of course!!!

Rumors started flying that Rudolph had gotten laid off due to technological advances concerning GPS. Santa realized he could simply plot waypoints for the good children's homes and be able to skip the not-so-good children's houses. So, Rudolph got laid off, Dasher mounted an external antenna on his antlers and Dancer put a spotlight in his to light the way. Last update we had was that the only job Rudolph could find was as a mascot for a small town southwest of Bowling Green, perhaps you can visit him while you are in the area.
