Today's Cacher welcomes
sister site across the pond

By Tee King, aka Pyewacket

Growing by leaps and bounds, geocaching is quickly crossing international borders. Today's Cacher is pleased to introduce a sister site, Geocaching Today, an online magazine in the UK which echoes the fervor of caching exhibited in the United States.

Created in June, 2004, this enterprise is headed by Gary Rogers, aka Inukshuk, a self-proclaimed "student geographer and geocacher". He employs a diverse staff to whom geocaching is more than a hobby, but rather a seemingly necessary addition to their way of life. Included in the magazine's content are pages and pages of valuable caching information, gorgeous photos of various locales, caching-related quizzes and puzzles, and links to sites that perpetuate the pursuit of hidden global treasure.

From time to time, Today's Cacher may (with their permission) mirror articles originally published in Geocaching Today, giving our magazine a more international flavor. After all, geocaching is far from a small, regional activity shared by a mere handful of treasure seekers; it's a passion shared by citizens worldwide. The First Annual Irish Event Cache Bash is such an article, comparing and contrasting the similarities and differences between geocaching in the United States and the United Kingdom.

Today's Cacher looks forward to a long and rewarding partnership with Geocaching Today, and we hope that you'll add their site to your list of favorites.
